Is this implant course designed for beginner dentists?
Yes — beginner to intermediate. The prerequisite is an active dental license and the ability to perform extractions. See who the course is built for.
Do participants place implants on live patients?
Yes. Licensed hands-on participants operate under direct chairside mentorship. See implant counts and case flow.
Who teaches the course, and how small is each group?

AGD PACE CE credit
How credit is awarded for each seat type, and how to confirm your own board will accept it.
How many CE credits does each seat type earn?
Hands-on surgeon seats earn 36 CE credits. Observer seats earn 22 CE credits. Credit is awarded through MINEC America, an AGD PACE-approved provider (Provider ID #322397), under Code 690 – Implants.
Will my state or provincial dental board accept these credits?
AGD PACE-approved credit is accepted by most US state dental boards, but each board sets its own rules — and Canadian provincial regulators vary. Confirm requirements with your own licensing board before registering. Ask a coordinator if you need documentation for your board.

Where is the course held, and what does tuition cover?
The four-day course runs at the 3rdSET Surgical Training Clinic in Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico. Tuition is all-inclusive — hotel, meals, implants, instruments, materials, and airport ↔ hotel ↔ clinic transport. See the full inclusions list.
What travel is each participant responsible for?
Participants are responsible for arranging travel to and from San Diego International Airport, including flights, ground transportation, lodging, and related accommodations before and after course participation. Participants traveling from regions subject to seasonal weather or travel disruptions are strongly advised to arrive in San Diego at least one day before the course start date.
What border access is included?
The all-inclusive course package includes medical fast-pass and SENTRI lane access for expedited US-Mexico border crossing.

What a seat costs, how payment is processed, and how cancellations are handled.
How much is tuition for hands-on surgeons and observers?
Hands-on surgeon tuition is $16,000 and observer tuition is $3,000. The hands-on surgeon package is all-inclusive and limited to 5 seats per course.
When is course registration confirmed?
Registration is confirmed only upon receipt of full payment. A confirmation email is sent once registration is processed.
What payment methods and fees apply?
Payments must be made in full prior to the course start date. 3rdSET accepts major credit cards and other approved payment methods. Financing is available via 3rdSET Finance. A 3.6% surcharge applies to credit card payments, debit cards are not surcharged, and bank wire transfers incur a $26 fee.
What is the cancellation and refund policy?
Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to ce@3rdsetimplants.com. For 40+ days before course start, only credit card fees are non-refundable. For less than 30 days before start, $1,000 plus credit card fees are non-refundable. For less than 14 days before start, $3,000 plus credit card fees are non-refundable.
